Norquay School observed Remembrance Day on Monday morning, November 10 at two ceremonies. The Grade Seven Recorder Ensemble played, the Grades 5, 6 and 7 Choirs sang, and the students of Divisions 2, 6 and 9 made special presentations. Eight grade seven students spoke about the meaning of Remembrance Day. Their remarks were partly based on the grade seven students' conversations with Mrs. Robinson, who took part in World War II and who lost her husband in the fighting in 1942. |
