On Thursday, June 3rd, the Norquay track & field members participated in the District Meet at Van Tech. Boy, was it ever burning hot out there! Anyhow, we did a terrific job on the tiring 400 meter dash, the super challenging 800 meter dash, the 200 meter dash, and the 100 meter dash (for sprinters). We were especially successful at the 4 by 100 relay and the medley relay because we had lots of confidence and GREAT teamwork! Long jump and shot put were fun too. Over 60 students participated and some hardworking coaches cheered us on. We competed against 6 other Vancouver schools. Thank you to parents and teachers who drove us there and back.
