At the year end assembly on June 26, 2008, our former principal, Mrs. Hughes came back to present to the school a collection of stories and drawings that students had written about the lives of their parents and grandparents. She read out three of the stories and presented a copy to Mrs. O'Connor to be put into the Norquay library.
Mrs. Hughes is a well-known Canadian author. "The Graveyard Hounds" is her eighth book. It was published just this month.
