On Tuesday (last week of January) morning, Division6 received a splendid surprise. Ms Perry told the class that we were entering a snow building contest. So, the class set off and headed outside to build a dinosaur. We decided to build a dino because the prize was four amazing tickets to watch the one and only "Walking with Dinosaurs". Outside, we used buckets, spades, and man-power (well, boy- and girl-power - ed.) to build our gorgeous dinosaur. We started piling buckets of snow on top of each other. After we had made the body, we started on the tail. Then, we had to make the head. Students put a large snowball on the neck of the dinosaur. After the body was complete, Ms Perry sent Joon and Erika to get food colouring. Next, Ms Perry sprayed our creature blue. It was an extremely wonderful experience. On Wednesday, Mr. Smith came into our class and told us that we had won four tickets to 'Walking with Dinosaurs', compliments of CRAVE.FM. Everybody was very exceited. After lunch we had a draw for the two winners who had to be one girl and one boy. The winners were Wendy and Morris. They each received two tickets to the show.
