Our most recent project
was studying the Middle Ages. The first thing we learned was the
Feudal system, and how everyone must swear loyalty to the person
above them.
Then we learned about family
crests, and how everything on them represented you and your family.
Then we made one.
Then we learned abou
the different kinds of castles. Making the model castles was the
best part.
We then learned about Medieval
weapons, and got to make catapults. We held a competition to see
who had the best aim, and I tied for first place.
Finally,
we learned how rich merchants and the discovery of gunpowder collapsed
the Feudal system and brought an end to the Middle Ages.
